Steeped in the musical tradition represented by 60’s Punk compilations such as Pebbles, Back From The Grave and Garage Punk Unknowns, THEE FADED PYCTURES’ organ-driven sound is as authentic as you are likely to find in the current global Garage Punk milieu. The band features long-time fixtures of the Phoenix Garage Punk/Rock-n-Roll scene, including Jaime Paul Lamb on vocals and organ, Scott Obrand on guitar, Danny Bravo on bass and Danny Hawkins on drums – past and present members of local luminaries such as The Van Buren Wheels, The Dark Hearts, Acapulco Five-0 and other notables from Slovenly/Black Gladiator’s recent “WE’RE LOUD!: 90’s Cassette Punk Unknowns” double LP, produced by CRYPT records' Tim Warren. Far from being merely an anachronistic simulacrum of a bygone era, THEE FADED PYCTURES are a vital extension and fluent continuation of the Garage Punk idiom in the 21st Century. In less critical terms: The group plays a great selection of super legit 60’s-style Punk on period-appropriate gear.
